The offers of regional travel agencies across different themes are featured in a special edition of the Way to Croatia series
In a special edition of the Discover Croatia series – Discover the Šibenik-Knin County, created collaboratively by the Tourist Board of the Šibenik-Knin County and the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies, with the support of the Croatian National Tourist Board, the complete tourism offer of the Šibenik-Knin region is showcased - its culture, history, traditions, oenology and gastronomy, through active, interactive and experiential aspects.
The 25th edition of the Way to Croatia publication presents the rich cultural and historic legacy of the region through 39 travel programmes, featuring its authentic natural beauty, rich cultural and historical monuments, and an unbound and exciting coastline. This in so many respects exceptional region was recognized by UHPA as its preferred Domestic Destination for 2016/2017. In a joint effort, the promotion of the region’s tourism offer has resulted in the creation of new experiences for the special interest tourism market.
''In collaboration with regional travel agencies, we present 39 travel programmes that will give you a chance to meet our rich cultural and historical heritage, taste the authentic Mediterranean cuisine, and through our active programmes, to experience the original natural beauty of our region.'', the director of the Šibenik-Knin County Tourist Board director, Ms. Željana Šikić, states in the publication's foreword.
This publication showcases the travel programmes of travel agenies across different themes, each focusing on a specific attraction of the area, with the aim of creating unique travel experiences.
''In bringing you these new agency programmes, wherein the agencies are product developers, we would like to increase the recognition of Croatia’s tourism offer, to make it more competitive in light of the challenges of seasonality, and to contribute to raising the market value of the overall potential of Croatia’s tourism'', UHPA president, Mr. Tomislav Fain, adds.
