Emirates airlines held a special launching reception yesterday (June 1st) to celebrate their inaugrual flight from Dubai to Zagreb. Travelling on the flight was Thierry Antinori, Emirates’ Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Thierry Aucoc, Emirates’ Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations Europe and Russia, Gari Cappelli, Minister of Tourism, Republic of Croatia, Ali Al Ahmed, UAE Ambassador to Croatia, and a contingent of partners and business leaders from Dubai, Hong Kong, India and China.
The inaugural flight reception was held at Zagreb airport's new terminal, where distinguised guests were walked through the Emirates Boeing 777-300ER craft - among others, Ivana Maltar, Head of the UHPA office and Neda Lušić, Expert Assistant in UHPA's Marketing Department.
The walk-through reaffirmed that Emirates offers superior quality and innovative content to all three classes on the airline. A special feauture of the craft is that passengers can choose from 8 private, first class apartments, 42 seat-beds and 310 spacious economy seats.
The new daily flight will open up access to more than 80 worldwide destinations in Emirates’ global network, which makes for a solid competitive advantage, both for Zagreb and the tourism season ahead.
