The Travelife approach (www.travelife.info) is based upon the practical experiences gained by several leading companies in Europe (from practice, back to practice)

During 2013 and 2014, Travelife’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) training and management system was introduced to students across Croatia, Greece, Latvia and Poland. Collaboratively implemented with national travel associations, the practical learning, assessment and implementation tool certified more than 350 students in these four countries, and more than 120 employees of travel companies were awarded with theTravelife Sustainability Manager Certificate.

The initiative is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility Training and Certification in the Travel Sector – CSR TOUR project financed through EU Lifelong Learning Programme, theCroatian Ministry of Tourism and Croatia Government's Office for Cooperation with NGOs. The project is a two year project, in which tourist associations from Netherlands, Great Britain, Poland, Latvia, Greece and Croatia participate.

To ensure that the sustainable tourism education program continues, the project has set up a foundation to support the development of local capacity and knowledge to manage, promote and expand the training system.
