Beaches Nugal and Zlatni rat placed on the list by prestigious American magazine Condé Nast Traveler
The renowned travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler placed Nugal beach in Makarska and Zlatni rat beach on the island of Brač on its list of Europe’s 25 most beautiful beaches. The magazine highlighted the spectacular view and clear sea in Nugal and the unusual shape of Zlatni rat, perfect for water-sports enthusiasts.
The managing director of the Croatian National Tourist Board Kristjan Staničić said: „The latest edition of one of America´s most influential travel magazines confirms that Croatia’s visibility and its positive image on the American market. Despite current circumstances, in which we don´t expect many American visitors, it is important to continuously maintain interest and the perception of Croatia as a safe and attractive country“.
In addition to two Croatian beaches, many Greek, Spanish, French and Italian beaches found their rightful place on the list of 25 chosen beaches.
