The first modular training session for representatives of the public, the private and the civil sectors within the "Open up a border for adventure and new travel opportunities" project, will take place in Dubrovnik from 22.-24.2.2017 at Hotel Lero.
The first modular training session Voluntourism - Community Innovations! Developing quality voluntourism programs, within the "Open up a border for adventure and new travel opportunities" EU project on which UHPA is a project partner, will take place in Dubrovnik from 22.-24.2.2017 at Hotel Lero.
The topics for this session are volunteering management and social entrepreneurship. This will be the first of two three-day training sessions within this project.
The objectives of this training session will be to develop / improve the current abilities, skills, knowledge and attitudes of volunteering coordinators, to help them develop / improve their voluntourism programs, also improving their own knowledge about social entrepreneurship models, the types of corporate social responsibility and the possibilities such business models open in the development of products in tourism.
This project is implemented under the EU program on cross-border IPA component II, the Program on Cross-Border Cooperation Croatia – Montenegro 2012-2013, with the aim of strengthening the cooperation between the public, profit and non-profit sectors by developing voluntourism as an innovative and distinctive product on joint tourism territory of Croatian-Montengrin border areas.
All participants are guaranteed free consultations, refreshments, work materials and room to work, as well as coverage for logistics costs (full coverage for public transportation costs, partial coverage for travel by car with advance notice and under previously agreed upon terms, full coverage for accommodation and meals in Hotel Lero).
