Centuries-old pirate tradition has made Omiš a recognizable tourist pearl, situated in the heart of Dalmatia, between Split and the Riviera of Makarska.

Evoking the memories of the rich pirate history from 12th, 13th and 14th century, we will reach the masters of Omiš, dukes Kačić to whom a toll for safe and the only possible sailing over this part of Adriatic was paid. The main pirate base was the river Cetina with its island ahead of today’s restaurants Kaštil Slanica. Centuries-old pirate tradition is still alive on the streets of Omiš. Be a part of pirate battles on the river Cetina! Tourist packages range from one to three days. The basic activities program for a three-day package includes: Day 1: arrival, expert city guide through Omiš - topic Omiš pirates, visiting the pirate fortress Mirabela; Day 2: program Pirate’s night in the canyon of the river Cetina (boat ride down the canyon, attack by Omiš pirates, pirate dinner, entertainment along live music and pirates’ games; Day 3: departure. The packages are available from March until November for groups of 30 to 200 persons. The accommodation is available in a hotel with three, four or five stars or in private accommodation.
