Did you know that Croatia is the birthplace of many important inventions? Get to know some of them - come with us on an unforgettable journey to Rijeka and Zagreb, and learn all about how the torpedo and the pen were created! Our adventure following the trails of the famous inventors, Slavoljub Penkala and Ivan Vukic Lupis, will begin in Rijeka, the third largest town in Croatia and in the center of Primorsko - Goranska County.

Here you will learn all about Lupis, known for the invention of the torpedo, which, in its perfected version, became the standard arms of developed war navies. Afterwards we will visit the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, and learn first-hand about some of Penkala’s revolutionary inventions, such as mechanical pencils with a graphite core, thermos bottles or rotary brushes for brushing teeth. Join us and use this perfect opportunity to visit Croatia and learn all about Penkala and Lupis - people who have conquered the world with their inventions! Main attractions/ activities: exploring the miraculous world of inventors - Penkala and Lupis; sightseeing tours of the Technical Museum in Zagreb and the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral in Rijeka; visiting Risnjak and Plitvice Lakes National Parks

Main activities / attractions :

Tourist packages range from 5 - 7 days. The activity programme for a 7 day package includes: Day 1: Rijeka; Day 2: Rijeka - Plitvicka jezera (Plitvice Lakes) - Rijeka; 3: Rijeka - Crni Lug - Opatija - Rijeka; Day 4: Rijeka - Zagreb; Day 5: Zagreb; Day 6: Zagreb - Samobor - Zagreb; Day 7: Zagreb. Packages are available throughout the year, for groups of between 2 - 40 people. Accommodation is provided at 2, 3 and 4 star hotels. Transport is possible with your own vehicle or provided by us.
