Did you know that there are as many as eighty-fi ve ways to tie the knot of a tie? And did you know that the tie was not introduced by the French but by the Croats? Join us on a journey through Croatian history and learn all about how the world got to know the tie - today a universal symbol of sophistication and culture!

Our story takes us back into the 17th century when Croatian soldiers, pushed into the tragedy of the European Thirty Years War, came to Paris. The Croatian regiment ‘The Royal Cravates’ was immediately noticed by the fashion-conscious Parisians, and the court of Louis XIV soon began to wear the new fashion item ‘a la Croate’ - ‘cravat’, that is, the tie! How the story of the tie is connected to the story of love you will learn in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, where our hosts from the Academie Cravatica are waiting for us, who will teach us about absolutely everything to do with the tie. Come and fasten a tie around your unforgettable experience in Croatia yourself!
