Revenues from foreign tourists in the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 13 billion and 411 million euros

According to data from the Croatian National Bank (HNB), in the first nine months of 2025, revenues from foreign tourists amounted to 13 billion and 411 million euros, representing a growth of 1.7% compared to the same period in 2024, meaning 223 million euros more was earned.

In the third quarter of 2025, revenues from foreign tourists amounted to 9 billion and 37 million euros, which represents a decrease of 0.2% compared to the same period in 2024, or 21 million euros less.

"The data from the Croatian National Bank and the eVisitor system confirm that Croatian tourism continues its stable and sustainable growth in 2025. Along with a revenue growth of nearly 2% in the first nine months, this year we have also exceeded 110 million tourist overnight stays for the first time in history. We are satisfied with all these results, and they are not accidental; they are a reflection of a strategic focus on quality, higher added value, and more balanced tourism development throughout the year. The slight decrease in revenue during the third quarter is an indicator that all our appeals regarding the importance of price competitiveness were well-founded. All research shows that interest in travel is lowest for that part of the year, and therefore it is extremely important that prices remain realistic and competitive," stated Minister of Tourism and Sport Tonči Glavina, adding that compared to 2016, revenues in the first three quarters have increased by 83%, and by 72% looking at the third quarter alone.
