“Croatia Full of Flavours” event held in New York

Special partner event organised by the CNTB office in the USA in cooperation with the Šibenik-Knin and Zadar County Tourist Boards

The Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB) office in the USA, in cooperation with the Zadar County Tourist Board and the Šibenik-Knin County Tourist Board, organised a special partner event in New York titled “Croatia Full of Flavours”. The event also marked the beginning of cooperation with a new strategic partner, ABC·CCRA Travel Network, one of the world’s largest and most innovative consortia of travel agencies.

Within the event, alongside presentations of the two regions, four hotels participated – Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences, Hilton Hotels Croatia, Molum Hotel & Residences and Crvena Luka Resort – as well as two agencies, Lastavica Cruising and Feel Croatia DMC, whose representatives held meetings with American travel agents. Croatian eno-gastronomy was also promoted, presented by Villa Berulia, the oldest Croatian restaurant in New York, which is celebrating 45 years of operation this year.

Partners of the event included airline United Airlines, which promoted direct flights to Croatia, and the CCRA network, which brings together 9,000 agencies and 40,000 agents across the USA, presented by Chief Commercial Officer Peter Pincus. The event was attended by 22 premium and luxury travel agents, who received gift packages. The luckiest participants also received vouchers for short stays in Croatia, FAM trips to Zadar and Šibenik-Knin counties, as well as return tickets with United Airlines to Croatia.

On this occasion, representatives of Zadar Airport met with a representative of United Airlines, and the event was also attended by Domagoj Kero, Director of Podravka’s US office. The entire presentation of Croatia, marking the cooperation with the CCRA network, was covered by representatives of media outlets such as Travel + Leisure, Travel Pulse, Travel Weekly and NY Croats Radio.

The American market holds particular importance for Croatian tourism as it is the country’s most significant long-haul market and generates the highest tourism revenue. In 2025, Croatia recorded 850,000 arrivals and 2.4 million overnight stays from US tourists, representing an increase of 9% in arrivals and 10% in overnight stays compared to 2024.
