Foreign journalists discover the nautical offer of central Dalmatia

CNTB, the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, and ACI d.d. are the leaders and organizers of a special nautical-themed press trip

The Croatian National Tourist Board, the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, and ACI d.d. are the leaders and organizers of a special nautical-themed press trip involving eight foreign journalists specializing in tourism and sailing. They come from eight different markets, namely Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the UK, and the USA. The itinerary of the trip, which aims to additionally promote Croatia as one of the leading nautical destinations in the Mediterranean, began at ACI Marina Split and will last until May 15. It encompasses tours and visits to numerous marinas, including ACI Marina Vrboska, as well as sites, towns, and islands of the Split-Dalmatia County, including Split, Hvar, Brač, Trogir, and others.

In addition to familiarization with the Croatian nautical offer, eno-gastronomy, cultural heritage, and authentic island experiences, the program places a special emphasis on sustainability and premium tourism products. Specially guided tours of historical sights, visits to local wineries, traditional taverns, and family farms have been organized, alongside numerous planned activities such as sailing, e-biking, and more.

Trips of this nature are an important part of the promotional activities of Croatian tourism, as they provide the media and journalists with direct destination experience and authentic impressions through which Croatia is promoted in source markets. Given that journalists from media outlets such as Kurier, National Geographic, National Geographic Traveler, The Independent, Pravda.sk, Yacht, Delius Klasing Verlag GmbH - Redaktion Boote, and others are participating in this trip, this project is expected to make a powerful contribution to the promotion of Croatian nautical tourism, the tourist offer of Split-Dalmatia County, and Croatia as a whole.
