One of the key goals of the tourism development strategy for the city of Dubrovnik was to extend the season, with the role of airline connections being crucial to this success. The extension of the summer flight schedule and the improvement of air connections during the pre-season and post-season have proven to be the most important in encouraging tourist arrivals.
Dubrovnik's listing on the "Good To Go" list for 2025, published by the prestigious magazine Wanderlust, is a special reason to be proud. The Wanderlust list features 25 global destinations that connect culture, innovation, and communities, highlighting global travel as a positive change-maker.
Cultural production in 2025 will be particularly rich, as three major anniversaries are being celebrated – 100 years of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, 80 years of the Dubrovnik Art Gallery, and 60 years of the Linđo Folklore Ensemble, further highlighting the rich musical tradition and contribution to the preservation of culture.
Wanderlust list particularly emphasizes the importance of off-season visits as support for local art and cultural heritage. More about the award in the link itself.
