Terra Gothica Incognita: First consultative workshop with stakeholders

A workshop on the identification of the tourism offer and the development of a new cross-border tourist destination will be held on 27 May 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m., at the City Hall of the City of Kastav.

The workshop will take place in the form of a public discussion with key stakeholders, and its conclusions will form the basis for the development of the Action Plan for establishing the new cross-border tourist destination Terra Gothica Incognita.

The main objectives of the project, co-financed under the INTERREG Slovenia–Croatia Cooperation Programme, are the preservation of shared cultural heritage from neglect and deterioration, its tourism valorisation through the development of a cross-border cultural tourism destination and related cross-border products, the implementation of various heritage interpretation and promotion methods to raise awareness among local communities of its importance and potential, as well as the revitalisation of a shared cultural identity.
