Croatia Airlines welcomes its sixth new Airbus A220 aircraft in Zagreb

The latest aircraft has been named Zadar

Croatia Airlines has taken delivery of its sixth new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with a capacity of 149 passenger seats. The latest aircraft bears the registration mark 9A-CAP and has been named Zadar; like all the new aircraft that began the fleet renewal process last year, it arrived directly from the Airbus factory in Mirabel, Canada.

The Croatian national carrier thus operates this tourist season with six new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, within a total fleet of 16 aircraft which (in addition to the new A220 fleet) also includes four Airbus A319 aircraft, two Airbus A320 aircraft, and four Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.

The delivery of another new aircraft is expected by the end of this year, which will be the first A220-100 type aircraft with a capacity of 127 passenger seats.

The entire fleet renewal project is expected to be completed in 2027, by which time the Croatia Airlines fleet should consist of a total of 15 new A220 aircraft, of which 13 will be A220-300 and two will be A220-100.
